Drawing has always been a powerful tool for me to channel my emotions and find catharsis. In particular, using a ballpoint pen as my medium allows me to create intricate, detailed works that reflect the depth of my rage and anguish. The physical act of drawing helps me release pent-up energy and find clarity, while the finished pieces serve as a visual representation of my emotional journey. Through this process, I am able to transform negative emotions into something meaningful.
The material is drawn from the ugliness itself, from oppressive maladies, from the weight of existence, from reality's dramatic sob.
